Married RE teacher visited Falkirk Travelodge to ‘have sex with 14 year old girl’
A MARRIED RE teacher went to a Falkirk Travelodge to have sex with a 14-year-old girl, a governing body has ruled.
The General Teaching Council for Scotland believe Iain Parkinson visited the hotel as he planned to engage in sexual activity with the schoolgirl.
Kirkcaldy’s former teacher, 56, claims he went to Travelodge to find out about child sex surgery.
Mr Parkison had arranged to meet a man and woman from the Fabswingers website in May 2016 – not knowing they were undercover cops.
He had engaged in a sex chat with the couple and joined in a sex chat about a 14 year old girl.
Husband yells ‘this is a joke’ after married teacher, 35, faces jail for having sex with 15-year-old schoolboy in field
He was arrested by police after showing up for a “threesome” with condoms, but charges against him were dropped in 2017 after a judge found him a victim of police entrapment.
The teaching panel also ruled that the married swinger had engaged in “inappropriate online communication” and referred to “sexual activity with a 14-year-old girl and bestiality with a dog.”
Mr Parkison remains adamant that he intended to protect the child – but his story was not believed by heads of governing bodies.
Andrew Long, Chairman of the GTCS said: “It just doesn’t make sense as a story. He referred to sexual activity with a 14-year-old girl and bestiality with a dog.
“He then went to Travelodge in Falkirk to have sex with a 14 year old girl.
Long added, “He made it clear and graphically what he wanted to do to the 14-year-old. Mr. Parkinson’s version of events is just amazing, it just makes no sense.
“Mr. Parkinson’s tells the story of performing a needle-stick operation to protect a child, but there is simply no evidence of this. He launches into his own antics as if he were some sort of vigilante.
“Mr. Parkinson’s had the opportunity to stop. Instead, he told the person on the chat that he wanted to stick his pussy to their daughters. It just doesn’t make sense.
“Mr. Parkinson’s has shown himself to be utterly incapable of honesty. He is an adulterous man who exchanges sex with people online. “
At the hearing, he admitted to having joined the site for “adulterous purposes” and planned to have a “bisexual threesome”.
He claims he “joined in a nasty discussion” about an underage girl about whether there were “really people doing these horrible things.”
Mr Parkinson, who lives in Corstorphine, Edinburgh, said he did not report the messages to police because he “did not want to take cover”.

Darren Wapplington, representative of the NASUWT teachers’ union, who represents Mr Parkinson in response, said: “He has always given an honest history of events.
“There is no history of prior concerns in his long and distinguished career. Mr Parkinson’s intention was not to engage in sexual activity with a 14-year-old girl. “
The hearing will continue tomorrow.
