Kevin Durant reveals his latest business venture

Kevin Durant continues to make great strides.

Kevin Durant is one of the biggest names in the entire NBA right now. He is considered the best player in the league and although he hasn’t had much success in the playoffs this year, he is still highly regarded by fans and his peers. Durant is hugely successful and his wealth has allowed him to start companies such as 35 Ventures, with Rich Kleiman.

The two have made big investments together, and recently it was announced that they had just bought a minority stake in Gotham FC, a team in the National Women’s Soccer League. Gotham FC is a New York-based team, and it only makes sense that KD would want in on the action.

“As a New York-based company, the opportunity for us to partner with a forward-thinking team like Gotham FC was a no-brainer,” Kleiman explained. “There has been so much growth in the NWSL over the past few years, and the chance to be a part of that growth and to work directly with the management team and players at Gotham FC is truly exciting.”

KD also commented on the big news, writing, “Let’s make it our own @GothamFC.”

This is definitely big news for the league as it shows that women’s football is growing at a rapid pace.
