A former Ricky Martin business manager, Rebecca Drucker, claims the Latin sensation robbed her of a million dollars. Now she’s pushing through a lawsuit to get what she thinks is due.
Ex-Ricky Martin business manager claims she was stiff on millions in new lawsuit – seeking $3m
Drucker says she represented Ricky Martin between 2014 and 2018. She would return to work for Martin in May 2020 when, as she claims, the singer’s “personal and professional life” [were] in absolute turmoil.
She claims she helped get him back on track by bringing him contracts, sponsorships, touring opportunities. Rebecca Drucker said she even helped get her on the big North American tour with Enrique Iglesias which would have fattened her wallet.
In addition to his professional life, in his private life, Drucker said he assembled a legal team to protect the singer from a career-ending allegation in 2020.
She claims she was finally forced to resign in April 2022 after facing lies from Ricky Martin.
Despite all of this, she didn’t get what she felt she owed for turning her life around and putting him back in the spotlight. She would even claim that Martin got aggressive and started threatening her to shut up and asking her to sign an NDA when she asked for her cut.
Drucker did not sign the nondisclosure agreement and is seeking $3 million, including punitive damages. No word from Ricky Martin’s side on the claims.
