Grace Mouriquand, Cañon Lodge Care Center Business Office Manager in Cañon City, recently received the Life Care Centers of America Mountain States Division Quarterly Champions Award for her dedication to customer service.
Life Care presented Mouriquand with a cash prize of $250 during an awards ceremony at the facility.
Mouriquand was one of only eight associates from more than 200 Life Care facilities nationwide to receive the quarterly award. She had won the establishment’s monthly What It Takes Champions award for October 2021.
Mouriquand has worked at the facility for over 14 years and is known for her enthusiasm. She answers the call lights even though it’s not her job, and she organizes all fundraising projects at the facility for the annual Alzheimer’s Association walk and for Operation Christmas Child, which sends shoeboxes full of gifts to war-torn and poverty-stricken children. countries.
In addition, Mouriquand purchases snacks for the facility store which are sold to raise funds for staff appreciation events. She even plants flowers and vegetables at the establishment and weeds them, all to the delight of the residents!
