The second of our JLab recommendations, these £ 19.99 point-style True Wireless headphones are an Amazon bestseller. The speakers are small at 8mm, but a Bass Boost mode is available to give your tracks a little more bounce. The battery life is five hours and there are 15 more in the charging case.

If you want great value on high-performance headphones, Huawei’s fabulous Freebuds 4 should be on your radar.
Unlike the rest of the headphones in our group, Huawei’s stick-style headphones offer dual microphone noise cancellation, with smart adaptive ear-matching technology.

The headphones can analyze your ear shape, then automatically select the most effective noise canceling filter. By design, the Freebuds 4 don’t offer complete isolation, but in many ways it’s a good thing if you want or need to be aware of your surroundings when you’re on the go.
They also sound superbly. Large dynamic 14.3mm drivers deliver crisp highs, with surprisingly full bass.
With regular use, you’ll get four hours of battery life, although that drops to 2.5 if you turn on noise cancellation. With the charging case, you will have a reserve of 15 hours. Usefully, they recharge in just 15 minutes. We consider them to be a great alternative to Apple’s Airpods Pro.
