Aaron Carter is hospitalized after extreme weight loss
According to a report from Refinery29.com, last Thursday Aaron Carter was hospitalized in a Florida hospital after losing a lot of weight. TMZ was the first to report that Aaron was staying at the Ascension Sacred Emerald Coast. Aaron’s mother, Jane, takes care of him.
Earlier in the week, the singer-songwriter revealed he was returning home to spend time with his mother, Jane Carter, who has reportedly struggled with alcoholism in the past. On his Twitter account, Mr. Carter expressed his fear that his mother would start drinking again.
Aaron said on his social media account that he takes his van to collect his things and have it move in with him until she can get treatment. TMZ reports that when he got there, she was surprised at the weight he lost, dropping from 160 to 115 pounds.
On her IG account, Jane said that Aaron has a lot of family issues. And, according to her, much of it hasn’t changed over the past twenty years. As previously reported, in September of this year Nick and Angel filed a restraining order against him.
Nick Carter of the Backstreet Boys accused Aaron of threatening himself, Nick’s pregnant wife, in addition to his unborn child. Because of him, Nick asked for gun control and hoped out loud that his brother would get the treatment he needed.
In the past, Aaron has claimed he was set to inherit a gun arsenal from his father in an episode of The Doctors. During the same episode of the reality TV series, Aaron explained his multiple diagnoses, including manic depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, and multiple personality disorder.
In 2017, Aaron shared that he spent time in a rehabilitation center due to an opioid addiction. “I have nothing to hide,” Carter said in the video. Apparently, Aaron is currently preparing to go to court to deal with the aforementioned allegations made by Nick and Angel.
