25/75? Minnie Dlamini’s estranged husband drops joint venture

South African actress Minnie Dlamini’s husband, Quinton Jones, has reportedly quit their production company.

A source tells Sunday World that Minnie Dlamini’s ex-husband Quinton Jones has changed his mind about their business partnership. He allegedly informed Minnie that he would be resigning from their company – Beautiful Day Production.

The publication reports that Quinton owns a 25% stake while Minnie owns the rest of the shares in the television production company. The source said Quinton will ask her lawyers to file the divorce papers, but he will give her their home in Midrand, where she will raise their child.

“Remember, they got married by prenup, which is subject to the practice system,” a source told the publication.

Minnie and Quinton tied the knot in July 2017 and their wedding was aired on a Showmax special called Becoming Mrs Jones. The couple welcomed their son Netha Makhosini Jones in 2020.

Minnie announced that she and Quinton would be divorcing on January 15, 2022. However, at the time, the actress said she and her ex-husband would remain business partners.

“Over the past 2 years, our family has experienced incredible joy and devastating loss. During this time, we have found comfort in knowing that we had each other,” their joint statement read.

“After months of separation and counseling and with our family and our counsellor, we have made the decision to formally file for divorce. Despite the end of our marriage and romantic relationship, we remain friends, business partners and loving parents to our beautiful son,” the statement continued.

“It was a difficult decision to make and even more heartbreaking to announce,” the statement added.
